LpB – La p’tite Brûlerie is a micro roaster and a coffee shop located in the picturesque (very) small town of Deschambault, along the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. In 2010, the owner Melanie Gagne fell in love with the place and dreamed of creating a cozy community-gathering spot, focused on specialty coffee. Since 2011, LpB has been roasting 100% organic and fair-trade coffees, selling it in its lovely coffee-shop, online and with wholesale partners across the province.
The roastery is also involved in its community by taking part in local initiatives and sustainable practices- such as a public market, a “Buy Local” campaign, food-industry committees and joint tourism promotion. Becoming a member of Cooperative Coffees is an opportunity to take part more actively in the green coffee sourcing and projects and relationships with the producers.
