Since March of 2000, Coutts Coffee has been roasting Fair Trade and Organic coffees at our retail shop located in the beautiful town of Perth, Ontario (100 km west of Ottawa). We roast all our coffees in small batches, using a purely traditional method, to achieve the ultimate development of each coffee’s unique characteristics. We sell most of our coffees in our shop plus online. Our goal is to provide our customers with the ultimate coffee experience, while maintaining a fair and transparent relationship with our staff, coffee producers and our community. We believe in helping farmers to improve their growing practices and their living standards, as well as protecting the environment.

We are actively involved in and around our community, striving to make it a better place to live and enjoy. We are proud to sponsor The Table (The Community Food Centre) whose goal is to ensure that everyone in the community has enough safe, good quality food to have a healthy life. It is focused primarily on meeting the needs of low-income people in a welcoming and respectful environment. We support this initiative by donating $1.00 for every pound of our Table Blend coffee that we sell.

Also, we sponsor Guatemala Stove Project by helping to raise funds for and traveling to Guatemala in order to build cook-stoves for impoverished families.
